Job Summary:


A premier financial institution in Chicago, IL is seeking a Head of Asset Management to lead its investment strategy, portfolio management, and client advisory services. This executive will oversee institutional and private client assets, drive investment performance, and ensure alignment with risk management and regulatory compliance.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute investment strategies to optimize portfolio performance.
  • Oversee asset allocation, risk assessment, and market research to maximize returns.
  • Lead a team of portfolio managers, analysts, and advisors.
  • Cultivate and manage relationships with high-net-worth clients, institutional investors, and stakeholders.

A leading regional bank in Dallas, TX is looking for a Director of Retail Banking to oversee branch operations, customer acquisition, and revenue growth. This leader will drive the bank’s retail strategy, digital transformation, and customer experience initiatives across multiple branches.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage a network of retail banking branches in the Dallas market.
  • Drive customer acquisition, deposit growth, and lending services.
  • Implement digital banking initiatives to enhance customer experience.
  • Develop sales strategies to expand retail products (checking, savings, loans, credit).

Chief Risk Officer (CRO), Commercial Banking - Chicago, IL

 

Job Summary:


A mid-sized commercial bank in Chicago, IL is seeking a Chief Risk Officer (CRO) to lead its enterprise risk management, regulatory compliance, and operational risk strategies. This executive will be responsible for credit risk, market risk, operational risk, and regulatory compliance, ensuring the bank’s financial health and long-term stability. The CRO will work closely with the CEO, Board of Directors, and regulators to develop and implement risk management frameworks that align with industry regulations and business growth objectives.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Design and implement the Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) framework tailored to commercial banking operations.
  • Oversee credit risk management, ensuring strong underwriting standards and loan portfolio health.
  • Develop strategies to mitigate market risk (interest rate fluctuations, liquidity risk, capital adequacy).

Qualifications:


  • 10+ years of experience in risk management, regulatory compliance, or banking operations within a commercial banking environment.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Risk Management, or Law (MBA, JD, or CFA/FRM preferred).
  • Deep understanding of credit risk, market risk, operational risk, and regulatory frameworks in commercial banking.
  • Experience working with federal and state banking regulators (FDIC, OCC, Federal Reserve, CFPB, etc.).
  • Strong knowledge of Basel III, Dodd-Frank, stress testing, and capital planning.
  • Proven leadership in building risk management frameworks and governance structures.
  • Excellent analytical, decision-making, and stakeholder engagement skills.
